Spending more for quality athletic clothing is a way to not only find items that will last, but also make a statement with those that see you wear the clothing. There are many brands out there that claim to make to a big statement, but few have the quality to back up the hype.Â

More money for clothes does not mean that they are necessarily over priced. Nike Clothes for instance are higher priced, but the quality is so good that you are truly getting what you pay for; a good product relative to the cost. Many believe that if something costs more, then it should be good. With Nike, there is something about having the brand name in that it is a good product.
This is a clothing line that has established itself through good design, research, and a track record of long lasting wear. If paying more for this type of clothing is not in your budget, consider buying less this season, and buying two or three high quality garments, rather than a bunch of clothes that will not last.
It Is Cost Efficient
If spending more for one piece of clothing is not what you had in mind, consider the following. If you spend five dollars on a shirt, and in six months you need to replace that shirt, then that means you actually spend 10 dollars on that shirt, per year. If you spend 30 dollars on a Nike shirt, but that shirt lasts five years, you have just saved money because you would still need to be replacing the first shirt.
